Comments
Comments: We had planned a different excursion to the higher peaks, but with the snow and potential weather we decided to keep things a bit lower and headed over to the Shelburne area. All the trails are many levels of wet and slippery -between water and mud. That said we had a really nice time and it was a great day out in the forest -all the brooks, streams, and waterfalls are spectacular right now. Trillium up out in the higher areas, lady slippers in lower spots. - super beautiful area. Dream Lake still had some ice in it -bits of snow around 2500-2700 feet. We had spikes, but it was such small amounts they weren't needed. Ran into two small groups and one larger group of young people all day.
