Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Main parking lot was full on arrival, as was the Mt Morgan trailhead lot across the street. We went 1/4 mile east to the parking lot for Mt Percival, which had ample room left. Parking at roadside on rte 113 by the trailheads is not allowed.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: (none)
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in very good shape. Fairly new work by the SLA on steps, with 6x6 timbers, eliminates any really long stretches up to/down from boulders. There are a few muddy places, with trail creep as people without footware suitable for a rough trail have gone around the mud, much of which is fairly thin over decent base underneath.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: There were a few, leashed, well-behaved.
Bugs
Bugs: There were some buzzing our heads a bit, which some noticed more than others.

Comments
Comments: It was a busy trail mid-morning in the middle of a long holiday weekend. The hikers were a mix of younger adults with small kids and older people. It's a quick, easy mile with perhaps 400 ft of elevation gain and a great view overlooking Squam Lake from the wide ledges up top.
