Cold and rainy (and a little snow too) day so no bugs, definitely a welcome reprieve |

Such a pleasant and gradual walk, hardly any rocks either so my already sore feet were happy. It's mud season, though, and many portions of the trail were ankle deep and not easy to avoid if that's your thing. Glad I wrote my boots and not trail shoes. There was about an inch of snow up top but I imagine that'll be gone quickly.
A set of moose tracks went up most of the trail and seemed pretty fresh but no wildlife sightings aside from a startled grouse. A good first hike of the season for my hiking partner, supposedly there's a good view from the top but it was socked in |
