 | Water Crossing Notes: |
We considered crossing at the Wildcat Ridge Trail, but fording would have been required, and it didn't look safe to do so with the current. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail maintainer recently cut out a blowdown and installed a new sign at the Wildcat Ridge junction. A number of failed bog bridges. |

 | Comments: |
We had considered doing a loop with the Direttissima, but the water crossing was not safe, so it turned into an out-and-back. Mucky in places, but not terrible.
Cloudy early afternoon with temperatures in the 50s. Felt more like early May than late May. |
