Water Crossing Notes: I had to wade (changed into Tevas) for the Lucy's Brook crossing on Moat Mountain Trail. For the Lucy's Brook crossing on the Red Ridge Trail, I crossed on a wide fallen tree just downstream of the actual trail crossing.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One tree across Red Ridge, near the intersection with the forest road.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a handful, woof!
Bugs
Bugs: A few at the stream crossings. Still pretty cold out!
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I found my sunglasses right next to my bike - thank you to whoever put them on top of one of the pay stations so they didn't get stepped on!

Comments
Comments: It was a gorgeous day and I needed to be in easy biking distance of where we are staying in North Conway. Large portions of the trail in the wooded sections were quite slippery if they had slabs rocks. I definitely had to take my time. I was surprised there was still patches of snow on the south side of the summit - not much, but enough for novelty value and some late-season snowballs. There was mud but I was expecting it. Gorgeous views for sure!!
