Comments
Comments: Trail started out wet and muddy, at times the trail was a brook or the brook was a trail. First snow about 4000 ft although sporadic in trail. There was more in the last 0.2 miles from the junction. Here it was more of a challenge since the trail is steep. Almost all were going up and down with bare boots although going down was of greater concern. Since I carried spikes I put them on and the descent was not an issue. I expect since this was part slush it will melt soon.
