Terrific morning - got there early, started up at 7:15 and caught the summit in the fog just after 9 - oh well!!! We had some directional views. Very peaceful and beautiful trails today. Caught a bit of a snowfield coming down the top of Carriage Rd - kinda wish we had gaiters on but we didn't. Did not particularly enjoy the mud at the top of the Gorge Brook Trail along the ridge but that made us appreciate the top of the Carriage Rd. Super!!! |
