Black Mtn Trailhead (north): plenty of parking. dirt road was rutted, bumpy and had large puddles, but our Subaru handled it with no problem. Chippewa Trailhead (south): plenty of roadside parking |

Lovely traverse hike, North to South. Wildflowers. Really great views of snowy Moosilauke and Lafayette. I hadn't been there in years and it was lovely to reconnect with such a nice peak. I enjoy history, so took time to appreciate the firetower artifacts on the summit, and the lime kilns area. Great day with Team Adventure. |
