It's warm down below and chilly up top. You want a full jacket with hat and light gloves for above treeline.
Trail is generally in good shape, but expect lots of running water, standing water, and melting slippery snow. DO NOT WEAR SNEAKERS OR RUNNING SHOES. YOU NEED FULL ON BOOTS RIGHT NOW. I don't want to trivialize the conditions, there is still a lot of snow and I met several groups of folks in running shoes trying to side step on the trails. Your feet will get soaked, and that snow is still snow and is very cold |
