Comments
Comments: Conditions up Avalon/A-Z towards Tom were mostly dry until about 3000 ft. We began seeing some snow on the trail. Once we began to head up Mt Tom spur, we encountered slush, puddles, then full on snow! Conditions remained that way throughout the day. Rain/snow started to fall on our way over to Field, and everything was a slushy, wet slog of a day. Willey ladders were a bit icy but uncovered. We wore spikes from Tom through to Kendron Flume Trail, where we were able to take them off.
