 | Comments: |
An excellent adventure to Redrock Ravine and an overnight at Bear Pond.Hiked in approx .6 miles beyond Redrock Brook crossing to an obvious old rr grade followed easily for approx 1+ mile to the end. At this point followed a barely discernable herd path. Kept Redrock Brook and any branches of the brook two my right at all times through mostly open woods. Redrock Brook has many amazing water features that can be tricky to photograph. The last 150 feet before the pond are pretty tight walked a dry stream bed for a bit and then went for it. On the high side of pond there is water flowing into the pond which would seem like a better option then the pond itself |
