Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Great trail for dogs (unless your dog doesn't like getting wet).
Bugs
Bugs: The black flies were finally back out after all the rain. Especially bad in the wet/boggy sections. I lathered myself in bug spray beforehand.

Comments
Comments: All things considered, this trail was in the best condition of all the trails I took this weekend. Started out dry and eventually began rock hopping to avoid the standing/running water and mud. Decided against the Engine Hill bushwhack and rock hopped the entire stream. Crossed down towards the water to begin the Iso Express bushwhack. GPS came in handy as I began navigating through the woods. Definitely regretted wearing shorts, despite the warm temps my legs are cut up. Saw some fresh looking moose scat. Small patches of snow on Davis Path heading towards the summit. Summit was bare and beautiful, with a great view of the snowy Prezis. Saw two people on the summit who came from Glen Boulder and noted that they were postholing throughout the day on sections of the trail. Debated avoiding the bushwhack down but decided to go for it and it was much easier to navigate on the way down. Ran into one group coming up with their friendly dog, and no one else the rest of the day. I was glad to get Isolation today and pleasantly surprised with the trail conditions considering the weekend we had!
