The water crossing to get under the route 9 tunnel is not possible without getting wet unless you are very tall. I wish we had crossed route 9. |

Incredibly good shape. There was one tree down around the white ledges approaching sunapee,but other than that almost perfect. Just some muddy/running water on the dirt roads @ times. |

You can really tell how much love has gone into this trail. We absolutely loved our 2 days out, from blueberry fields to ridge lines. Washington General Store is of course a must stop, and all the shelters appeared to be in great shape. I wrote a pretty hefty report, but really this was a one foot in front of another type of trail. Guide book & map were good to have, but I mostly relied on a track i downloaded on gaia
