 | Water Crossing Notes: |
After Garfield shelter the trail was pretty much a stream-- pretty steep section with fast moving water. Lots of streams after Bondcliff but nothing deeper than a boot-- mostly rock hopping stuff. No wading or impassable sections. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of down trees between Liberty and Haystack, before Garfield and also between South twin and Guyot . Made it difficult to find the trail at times. Also after Bondcliff along the Black brook there was a lot of water and we lost the trail for a moment. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of cute pups! |
 | Bugs: |
Lots of flies starting from Bondcliff till the end of Lincoln woods trail. Nothing from the start of the Pemi until then. |
 | Lost and Found: |
There was a green military-esque backpack with a yellow tent & a rumpl blanket by a rock after Lafayette. |
 | Comments: |
Pretty muddy/slushy at some points but otherwise the Pemi loop was completely doable. No treacherous stretches or any conditions too crazy. Only Lincoln and Lafayette had snow at the peaks, the rest were bare. |
