Trail is in decent shape up to Starr King. Some mud in all of the normal spots and lots of dry trail and rocks to make it a nice quick morning out. Did not take the mile walk over to Waumbek due to a time commitment. |

 | Comments: |
Second time running into a young bear in the last week and half in the same general area. Roughly 0.5-0.6 miles from trailhead. The bear didn't run far before treeing itself. Please be cautious early in the morning as I suspect this little guy is still hanging with mom. |
