Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Overall, passable. Evidence of recent blowdown removal and/or trimming....thank you. Drainages could use a lot of work, though. Three or four needed clearing on Mizpah cutoff, and as many as two dozen on Crawford Path needed clearing or deepening. Contact me if you'd like phots, with coordinates, of the worst ones. Many of these were below the junction with Mizpah cutoff. There is also remediation needed beyond the existing drainages: There are many very wet spots with no sign of a water bar as part of the trail construction. And some water bars are in spots that seem to be generally dry....a lot has changed in 200 years;--)
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: saw a few. Plenty of water
Bugs
Bugs: There were a few. Not many black flies or mosquitos. A head net(sometimes) and one application of spray was sufficient
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: There's a knit hat on the bridge

Comments
Comments: Conditions are much better than the last report I read, from Memorial Day. I wore gaiters based on that, but they were unnecessary. It was a popular day to be on the trails, although many folks had parked in lots other than the Crawford Connector
