 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Streams are high, but all rock-hoppable with a little care. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Hundreds of blowdowns, big and little, starting on 19MB as you leave the stream behind and the trail gets a bit steeper. Trees are down on CM and then on Carter Dome Trail most of the way back down to 19MB Trail. There are step-overs, duck-unders, and bushwhack-arounders, but there are semi-established 'detours' around the tough ones, so none of them are impossible to navigate. Just plan some extra time. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
|
|
 | Bugs: |
Active at trailhead at start and finish. Also active at Zeta Pass. Other than those spots, we had no trouble with blackflies. However, it was a cool, partly cloudy day with a breeze, so expect bugs to be more bothersome in warmer, calmer conditions. DEET is your friend. |

 | Comments: |
As noted in other reports, the little remaining small patches of snow are a non-issue. Leave your micro-spikes at home. Ours had a nice ride. |
