Parking/Access Road Notes: Got a flat tire leaving Crawford Depot parking, went completely flat in under a mile. Fortunately wide level paved shoulder and a young guy finished changing my tire for free. But watch where you drive there!

Water Crossing Notes: Unofficial improvements to Avalon trail crossings made rock-hopping easier

Trail Maintenance Notes: Water bars on Avalon Trail apparently not cleaned in years leading to muddy trail A couple 8" blowdowns on A-Z Trail easy to get by A-Z and Mt Tom Spur need pruning A lot of herd paths on Tom summit, official trail needs better marking
