Trails were awful early this afternoon. Lower Stinson Mountain Trail had lots of standing/running water - seemed like I was rock hopping a long, long brook crossing. Then some damp areas, then some mud. I opted for the snowmobile trail thereafter, but that wasn't much better - lots of mud (waterbars haven't been maintained in some time).
Decent variety of wildflowers in bloom including purple violet, bluebead, and painted trillium.
Cloudy late morning/early afternoon with temperatures in the 50s. |
