Lot was full when I arrived early afternoon. Had to park roadside a short distance from the lot. |

Several easy hops. Brook Trail crossings were biggest of the day but still manageable with dry feet |

Removed one blowdown on the JVBP trail. Trail creep and erosion running rampant on the Mt Major Trails. |

Between the wind gusts, the black flies were put in full force. |

Trails had somewhat dried out from the rain yesterday. Many muddy areas to contend with. It had been a while since I had been on the Straightback Mountain Trail and it was a nice return trip. Cool, windy day with some passing showers. |
