Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Running quite high, all were rock-hoppable though not often with dry rocks available
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blowdown evidence was plentiful but have all been cleaned up; One section coming down KRT towards Lonesome Lake Trail where the trail passes a large boulder was a bit of a warzone and required some attention to follow the trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Only bring hardy pups on this one; it's steep, rocky and relentless.
Bugs
Bugs: Thankfully absolutely none to speak of today.

Comments
Comments: Managed to squeak a hike in just as the rain and clouds cleared. Made for a slog however; nonstop running water on the steep sections and unavoidable mud holes on the "plateau" just before the final summit push on the approach from the North. Bog bridges along lonesome lake were just barely above the water in places, some slightly underwater. Until we get a little respite from the rain, you'll end up with wet feet on this route.
