 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossing Little River was a formidable feature on Sunday. I had zip off pants and water shoes, used poles to slowly move across. The flow was stronger than I want to admit and water was up to my crotch on the way West, up to my waist on the way East coming back where I chose a less flowy but deeper spot. Several others managed to get across - eight that I saw who call came from that side. The tributaries leading to Little River crossing were also flowing strong; some night struggle to get across w/o getting their feet wet (I did). |

 | Comments: |
The water crossing of Little River was the talk of all on the trail today but there was plenty of water on the trail itself too. Also, standing water, mostly between the two summits. No snow left but there was icing of the foliage near both summits. Otherwise, no blowdowns, smooth sailing. |
