The cannon balls section was not necessarily rough but there are a lot of blowdowns. Was there in March and it was like the old stuff was gone and this was all new. |

Started off the day in the rain. Let up about the time of crossing Fishing Jimmy. Felt like it got colder as I climbed going to North and South Kinsman. Stayed dry until the Cannonballs. Since I split my time between the daks and NH the blowdowns didn't feel that bad but NH seems to becoming more like NY in terms of challenging conditions. Maybe I'm just getting old. |
