Comments
Comments: Jewell Trail had mud and some standing water over the first mile, but overall it is in excellent shape. Above treeline, there was ice and patches of snow the half mile around the summit cone on Gulfside and Crawford Path, but it was easy to maneuver around. Most likely the ice will be puddles of water by this afternoon and into tomorrow with the rapid heat up, no need for rock spikes. The rest of Crawford Path and loop trails above treeline are in great shape. Crawford Path down to Crawford Notch is wet, muddy, and slick.

Cool temps and big views early this morning above treeline. Quiet trails for the most part and friendly faces out and about!
