Trail Maintenance Notes: Two minor and one larger blow down which you can step over and stay on the trail. I think all of those were passed the campsite on the way to the ledge.

Bugs
Bugs: Black flies were swarming. Mosquitoes were out but not as many as the black flies. One tick crawling on my sock. This trail has areas with grass, ferns, and more vegetation than usual.

Comments
Comments: Great trail. Great viewpoint. Perhaps not the greatest day to go on it. The haze was really settling onto the mountains and the sky offered up minimal color for sunset/sunrise. I camped the Rogers Ledge camp site. Privy - yes. Bear box - no. Four nice tent pads. Fire ring. Good time for wild flowers and birds. Just rather buggy. Much of the trail was dry but certain areas are saturated mud as water makes its way down to the brook. Most zones like this had perfect large stones to find your way across. Occasionally I did have to step in mud or some water but not much sinking down.
