Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Where to park is well signed. Parking for hikers is outside the driveway that leads to the lodge. Watch for big orange signs, and more than likely there will already be a bunch of cars parked on the side of the road just before the big orange signs.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: great bridges over the major water crossings. little tributaries are easy step-overs.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Great condition! 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots of rocks maybe tough on dog paws, that being said there were plenty of dogs running around with no issue. 
Bugs
Bugs: windy today at the summit - helped mitigate the bug issue, but the whole hike up, there were a steady stream of black flies wreaking havoc enough to don a bug net.

Comments
Comments: Rocky and steadily steep with some short level sections to catch one's breath. Regretted leaving hiking poles in the car. Hazy views today from the fires but sunny. Minimal mud. Happy Trails!
