 | Comments: |
For Salmon, the road closure adds a over a 2 mile road walk to reach the end of Ingersoll Road, turning this once fairly short whack into a 6.5 mile adventure overall.
For Diamond Ridge, after learning that the road to access the Diamond Ridge Vista and preferred whack route to DR, had no choice but to more than double the whacking mileage by tackling Diamond Ridge from the Magalloway side as Magolloway Rd remains open.
Lots of forest roads out in Pittsburg right now and another one for those interested in the far northwest peaks off of Indian Stream Road, should note that ISR is closed after the 8 mile mark.
