All rock hopping or step over. Rocks were slippery. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
In order of our hike: Three Ponds Trail was clear except for rotted tree that fell at around 1.9 miles. All the water bars have been recently cleaned and redefined, thank you to the trail steward(s). Still a lot of significant mud on this and the Donkey Hill Cutoff. Mount Kineo Trail was the best of the three trails with minor mud areas. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Would be a good loop if you plan on a major wash of your 4-legged friend. |
|
 | Bugs: |
oh yeah. Out in full force. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
Found a pruning shear. I left it at the kiosk on the rafter above the sign "General Information". |

 | Comments: |
Despite all the mud the trails are in decent shape thanks to the clean water bars. We missed the short relocation at about 1.4 miles which (we now realize) avoids a large muddy section on the Three Ponds Trail. Saw the sign where it rejoins the main trail and wished there was a similar sign at the southern end of this relocation. Our bad. Good day and didn't get rained upon but fed our share of mosquitos. |
