Comments
Comments: Things have dried out and trails are in good shape. My feet stayed pretty dry all day, aside from dragging my toes into water a few times. I went up Hale Brook, down Lend-a-Hand, out and back along the Twinway, refilled water at the Hut, and out via Zealand Tr. Saw a busy beaver eating on the trail, in the vicinity of the lower Zealand Pond. It was a hot day, but the wildfire haze cleared off that morning, and this was before rain that came later the next day. Views at Zeacliff were really good, if a little hazy - better than the last time I was there a few years ago, when it was completely socked in.
