 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked at Wildcat ski area, took the free shuttle (aka my bike) down to Camp Dodge and stashed it in the woods. Cut through the camp to the Camp Dodge Logging rd which connects to Imp trail. 19 Mile Brook lot was pretty full at 7:45am, 20 cars parked along the road in the PM. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
1 big blowdown about 1/4 mile down N. Carter trail from CM trail. Carter Moriah trail has seen a lot of work and is in good shape to Zeta Pass. Lots of blowdowns remain from Mt. Hight to Carter Dome and then down to Carter Notch. One of the boundary signs 1/4 mile before Zeta Pass on Carter Moriah Trail is gone, the other is about to be gone (falling off). |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
|

 | Bugs: |
None until about noon, when a few black flies showed up but not bad enough to put on spray...a nice contrast from Friday when they were out in droves on Owl. |

 | Comments: |
Trails still pretty moist requiring a little extra care on wet rocks/mud. Climbing up to Wildcat Ridge from the hut after descending from Carter Dome is type 2 fun.
Reports of an aggressive moose on Polecat ski trail around noon, but gone by the time I went by around 2:30pm, guess I just moosed him. |
