Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: none
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Nice signs. Maybe put another one where you enter from the power line. There is a small (less than 40 or 50 ft) herd path. Not a big deal, because it meets the real path.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Good. Two things to remember. The land the fall is one was private and graciously donated, so I would not let them wander off of it. Secondly, my daughter picked up at least 5 ticks and another was crawling across my windshield on the way home. You know what to do!
Bugs
Bugs: Blackflies not biting (maybe it was the repellent). TICKS TICKS TICKS!!!!!

Comments
Comments: First of all, a big thank you to the donors - Roberta Arbee and Robert Potter. Secondly, big thanks to the Randolph Community Forest. Excellent work on this path and its signs.

This place is your reward for the last 11 weekends of rain. A seasonal fall, this was cranking yesterday! Easy to find. RCF has a good sign guiding you to the path from the Presidential Rail Trail. A short woodland/grassy area walk (grassy area was very mucky), cross the power lines, and another short woodland walk. Couldn't believe we got there so quickly. There are a couple stone benches. You can sit and enjoy this beauty!
