 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking at Lowe's Store (closed) |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossing of Cascade Brook on Israel Ridge Path was uncrossable/dangerous at the current water level. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The lower 2 miles of Lowe's Path was very wet, with running water/mud the common factor.
A couple of easy step overs on The Link. A few annoying duck unders on Cabin-Cascade Tr. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Great hike for Fido |
 | Bugs: |
Black flies made an appearance this afternoon. Not as bad as they are sometimes, but I did see someone with a bug net. Not enough breeze at The Quay to keep them away. |

 | Comments: |
Original plan was Lowe's, The Link, Israel Ridge Path to Adams. Couldn't cross Cascade Brook. Took Cabin-Cascade Tr to the Log Cabin, then Lowe's up to The Quay. Significant haze, and a smell of smoke from Canadian wild fires. |
