Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The crossing of Cascade Brook on Israel Ridge Path was uncrossable/dangerous at the current water level.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The lower 2 miles of Lowe's Path was very wet, with running water/mud the common factor. A couple of easy step overs on The Link. A few annoying duck unders on Cabin-Cascade Tr.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Great hike for Fido
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies made an appearance this afternoon. Not as bad as they are sometimes, but I did see someone with a bug net. Not enough breeze at The Quay to keep them away.

Comments
Comments: Original plan was Lowe's, The Link, Israel Ridge Path to Adams. Couldn't cross Cascade Brook. Took Cabin-Cascade Tr to the Log Cabin, then Lowe's up to The Quay. Significant haze, and a smell of smoke from Canadian wild fires.
