Comments
Comments: Washout of the road is impressive. Can’t imagine it being repaired anytime soon. Long hike with added road walk but not terrible. Lots of water & mud in all the usual places down low. Some running water on the climb up. Cooler temps before the switchbacks kept the bugs away until the tower. Black flies out here but not biting….yet. Windy on tower, we lunched with several others below. Hazy views due to wildfires but still beautiful. We spent 90 minutes on top, not many out today. Uneventful hike down until my friend slipped at the water crossing. She toughed it out & we made it back to the lot.

Thanks Kerri for a great day!
