 | Comments: |
Cool temps and mostly clear skies made for a great day. The bushwhack to Middle and West Osceola is essentially a herd path. The start point is brushed in, but still obvious, at the right turn a short distance below the Osceola summit. Innumerable blowdowns, however, made following the well defined tread way challenging. I cleared 40-50 blowdowns, but a number of larger, more complicated blowdowns remain. The climb to Peggy’s Perch is quite steep, but the view from the top is superb! Able to access both canisters; note the Middle Osceola canister is on a short side path south of the main path of the herd path. |
