Surprisingly many spots available in the lot at 10 AM. I was a little shocked more people weren't out today. |

All very easy rock hops. |

Trails are all in excellent shape. |

Only saw one other pup the entire day. |

Black flies were FEROCIOUS above tree line, but virtually non-existent in the woods. |

Aside from the bugs at the top, it was a picture perfect day. We had Middle Sister to ourselves for awhile and only one other hiker came by while we were there. We looped up over First Sister and thought about adding Chocorua, but we were worried about bleeding out from the bugs. They seem to be particularly DEET-resistant this year.
