Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My dog had a fantastic time and we only ran into one other pup all day. This is a great trail for dogs and typically we run into several on Crawford Path. There are a few spots here and there where a dog may need a hand.
Bugs
Bugs: The rain kept them away!

Comments
Comments: Great day for the Southern Prezis. Made it up Jackson with no issues and rain began coming down on the summit. Despite the wind and rain, it was surprisingly warm and I did not need my layers! Several very muddy areas between Jackson and Pierce, thankful for the bog bridges. These trails are obviously well traveled and there were no blowdowns or issues so I was able to make quick time. Really fun day with some strong winds on Eisenhower. My dog also got to officially complete his second round of the 48 today on Ike, so that was exciting!!
