 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The Ammonoosuc Ravine parking lot had a steady flow of cars, but there were plenty of leftover spaces. I was glad to have a parking pass. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All the water crossings were easily rock hoppable without getting wet. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
No problems that I noticed. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Didn’t see many dogs on trail. |
 | Bugs: |
Bugs weren’t too bad overall, but they were swarming around on one spot on Crawford Path, and they were a persistent nuisance coming down Jewell. |
 | Lost and Found: |
Someone hung a water bottle and a glove on the side of the Jewell trail, maybe a couple miles from the bottom. |

 | Comments: |
This was my first time hiking Ammonoosuc without snow on the ground, and I was surprised with how easy it was by comparison. That said, I took a couple falls on the wet rocks. I came down Jewell because I felt like coming down the wet rocks on Ammonoosuc wouldn’t be safe. |
