Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Not an issue.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in fine shape. A bit of deadfall and a couple of duckunder blowdowns (courtesy of the storm yesterday) that really just need some de-limbing to limit the eye-stabby bits? Spectacle Pond trail is getting a tad brushy, as is the first mile of the Bald Knob Trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Because of the high winds, nothing for most of the walk except for near the beaver ponds on Spectacle Pond Trail, and even then, (only) just a few mossies and eye flies.

Comments
Comments: Fine walk today -- very windy; got to see some blowdowns happen in real time.

We removed a bit of deadfall and blowdowns, and left a couple that just need a wee bit of handsaw effort to remove some branch bits.

Nice to get out for a few hours away from the incessant (but soon-to-be-over) blatting of Motorcycle Week 2025.
