Comments
Comments: Gorge Brook was soaked from top to bottom. Plenty of mud and water on other trails as well. Saw three sunrise hikers descending gorge Brook, one lady high on carriage road, and about 25 hikers from snapper to my truck. Tons of cars streaming up the road at 7am to add to the conga line. Early bird special for the win! Hadn’t run in months-felt awesome to ditch the kiddos and open it up on the downhill! A older gentleman laughed and shouted “good work, it’s great to be young”, as I flew past him. Made me chuckle as at 43 I feel old sometimes, but reminded me that I can still move like a young man from time to time:)
