Comments
Comments: Good and long day out in Crawford Notch. Washout on Sawyer River Rd not horrible but bad enough to keep the road closed through this summer, likely. Signal Ridge and Carrigain Notch trails are in great shape, perfect for jogging on the descent. About 1.5mi in on CNT we found the turnoff and followed the drainaage on the east side of Vose, the steeps were short-lived but formidable. Herd path was pretty obvious most of the way up to the talus field. Bushwhack from there to summit was not bad, some blowdowns at the top made finding the canister interesting but if you wander far enough you'll see it.
