Many blow downs on Pine Link. A few would be difficult with a big pack. Above Howker Ridge Pine Link needs serious brushing. It is quite the car wash right now.
Howker ride is tight also, with at least one blow down above the Pine Link Jct. |

I would not recommend this trail for Fido. Sharp rough rocks above tree line. Very rough footing (boulder hopping). |

Some black flies, some mosquitos. Not bad, did not use the DEET I had with me. |

I do like Pine Link. This lesser used trail goes through some nice woods. But perhaps wait till it gets cleaned up. |
