Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Gate is still closed for "mud season" - we had to park opposite road in pulloff on Route 3. Walked around .6 each way to get to the trailhead.

Water Crossing Notes: most were easy, some were slippery 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: as previously mentioned, there are a lot of blowdowns - perhaps 20-ish overall with around 8 of those being super significant. I got pretty scratched up going under, over, and around the spruce. Reminded me of a WMNF wilderness trail.

Comments: Terrific morning hike - lovely woods - just striking, as always. Didn't bring a saw or plan time to remove all the blowdowns - there is a lot of work to be done. Didn't see any moosies, but, did see some tracks.
