Comments
Comments: Fine hike up Owlshead this morning for James’ 47/52. Some mud down low but nothing bad. Last .9 miles climbs 1400’ but there’s no scrambles on this route, just a nice , steep climb through a fine hardwood forest.view ledge is a minute south of summit. Only other summits visible today were adjacent Martha and Chocorua/Sisters, which was odd! Cloud ceiling high enough to allow nice views of surrounding valley/hills, however.
