Parking is tight, and due to plowing in the area, there's two larger snow bumps that partially block full access to the parking lot. Many parked across the street and about 1/8 mile down the road. |

A great day out - temps in the 30's, and zero to little wind. Earlier trail portions can be bare booted, but light traction makes quicker work of it. About 2/3 of the way to Star King, we switched over to snow shoes, which we kept on for most of the day. Some nice tromping through the powder on the ridge. Pucknuts, Wildtrails, Nonexistent & I enjoyed running into the solo woman (on vacation), John & June, MJ & her friend and Thad. |
