Trail was in good condition and there were no obstructions with fallen trees or anything like that. Some mud patches from the top of Mt Starr King to Waumbek but it was all passable and didn’t slow me down. Though there was no great view from the summit and it was a cloudy day, this was a beautiful mountain to hike. Not easy, not hard, not long….it was just right. There is a cool forest of ferns that stretches for a few hundred feet before the summit of Waumbek |
