Park in the large lot for the Appalachian Trail crossing (Beaver Brook Trail) on the south side of the road, just south of Beaver Pond Scenic Area and just west of the Lost River visitor center and the height of land in Kinsman Notch |

Not much water and some spots where a small dog might need help getting over boulders, but the trail surface is mostly soft spruce needles. |

This is may be the quietest section of the AT in the Whites, with almost no one but thru-hikers. One small ledge with a view towards LIncoln and a limited view from the top of Wolf Mountain. The initial ascent from the parking lot is steep but otherwise a relatively even stroll along a low ridge. |
