 | Comments: |
Most of the trail was dry today. There was the usual mud holes down near the river, and they are deep. Trail was in good shape for the erosion that has already happened. Views were slightly hazy. Didn't really see all that many hiker which was surprising since the lot was almost full when we arrived at about 8 AM. A few hikers had spent the night at the summit camping area and said the fireworks from surrounding town were great. Good idea.
