Clear summits driving up! Headed out of nearly full lot around 9 but didn't see a soul. Nice, dry, precipitous ascent. 2hrs up to Davis Path. Blazes could use freshening on the north cut to Davis. Lots of down/leaning trees in woods down/over to Isolation, along with a bit of mud. Killer views up on top. Whatever anyone says, the hike back up to Glen Boulder is rugged and relentless, and descent to the lot punishing. Down around 5 with gratitude; 9 to 5-- What a way to make a livin'! |
