It was a great day to be in the northern Presidentials. The weather was great with very little wind and plenty of sun. The trails were all in good shape too and the crowds weren’t too bad on the trail considering the holiday weekend. The summits generally had around 10 people each when I got to them. I brought plenty of water and planned to refill at Madison Springs Hut. I’m glad I did as there were very few options to filter water along any of the trails and those that did exist were running very slowly. |
