Comments
Comments: Pleased to find fresh powder this morning..3-6 inches through out, more up high, on a loose packed base made for very nice snowshoeing though of course the only other people we saw were in spikes. Deep drifts above Avalon Spur and around Field but the most wind and snow today was in the last 1/2 mile before Willey where the trench blown in and knee deep drifts besides. Very fun. Much postholing and lumpy trail on A_Z coming down from Tom made for an uneven descent. Cloud ceiling at right about 4300 feet so views were limited but we also enjoyed patches of blue sky and sun. Snowshoes car to car and they were perfect today..enjoyed the televators on Avalon Trail. Great day out with Sabrina and Pemi
